History: The Umbridges have never been well off what with the majority of them being in menial labor jobs. With the destruction of their home in the bombing raids, having to move in with his grandparents, and the death of his father in the tube station collapse at Bethnal Green, his mother has had to resort to bring in wash to make ends meet. While Sheldon has been tempted to leave school in order to help support family, his mother has insisted that he keep working in order to get his full qualifications. Better they tough it out together than Sheldon letting his desires fall by the wayside in order to do the right thing in the way that his Gryffindor drives make him feel like he needs to.
So, Sheldon has instead turned his full attention to his studies, throwing himself into his prefect duties and preparing himself for a Ministry position by participating in the Mock Wizengamot along-side the more upperclass members of the Hogwarts population.
Personality: The only child of two only children, Sheldon has been told since he was a baby just how special he was so much so that he wholeheartedly believes it. That wouldn't be such an issue if he didn't think that everyone else should believe it as well. Resembling every negative aspects of Gryffindor right down to his core, Sheldon is a proud, boasting, cock of a boy with very little lack of self-confidence. While he's chivalrous on some level, it's usually judgmental chivalry, reserved for those that he considers to be 'ladies of quality', while the rest of his attentions when it comes to women are focused on openly scolding those who act unladylike and dictating etiquette to those who seem to lack it. While he doesn't think women are necessarily inferior to men, he does think that there is a certain way that a woman should behave. Unfortunately, there are very few of those who actually emulate the idea which Sheldon possesses.
With a definite dedication to justice and a firm ambition in his heart, Sheldon is working together a position within the Ministry which he hopes will allow him the sort of control and distinction which he tends to lack in his every day life. Becoming prefect was certainly a step in the right direction, but being unable to really influence the direction of his home life as made him long for a place where everything can be just so. If his home can't provide that to him, he's probably to do his best to get it through his work. Perhaps the most hardassed of prefects, he didn't allow anyone to get by and the punishments which he doles out tend to be rather extreme. Even taking massive amounts of points from his own House won't deter him from his duty, and he's hoping that that same dedication is what is going to push him right to the top at the Ministry in whatever field he goes into.
Ideas for plot: Since this is a PSL, please help suggest a few game-wide plots.
